SABITA YADAV wins Gold & Silver for Table Tennis at the Special Olympics World Games, 2019 in Abu Dhabi. STARS provided her with special coaching and the required equipment. After achieving this milestone STARS arranged an interview at FM Rainbow Radio Station to give recognition to her and her colleague, Shanti, who won the Bronze for Handball. STARS also nominated Sabita for the Orchid Award 2019 – Women Achievers in Goa, groomed her and accompanied her for the Award Ceremony.

SAVITA received her Computer Engineering certificate after completion of her course. STARS assisted her financially during her four year course. She has been employed in one of the top IT companies in Bangalore.

SUJATA completed her Nursing Course in Belgaum with assistance from STARS. She is now employed at a well-known hospital in Goa.

NAINA completed her course in Hotel Management at IIHM with assistance from STARS. With a ‘Best Academic Performance’ certificate from her Institution, she received offers from various hotels, and is now employed in a reputed Taj Hotel.

PRASAD, a case of Spastic Qudraplegia Lower Limbs > Upper Limbs with Cerebral Palsy lived a miserable life crawling around, unable to stand. STARS took up his case, and after a thorough investigation by five different medical professionals, including a Counsellor, surgery was done on him. Today he walks with crutches and is quite independent. He is still being provided with physiotherapy and motivation to improve further.
